MARCELLE MURDOCH - OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Marcelle Murdoch, also known as Bop Murdoch, is a renegade theatre maker with a passion for real, live human interaction (despite her necessary apparent existence in cyber space)
Bop is focusing her fresh-graduate-momentum on kickstarting her new theatre company, Pat-A-Cake productions, which she has set up since completing her degree at Victoria University 2012. She facilitates a collaboration empowering 'Pat-A-Cakers' to devise physical theatre from their own experience.
Bop loves to jam pack her daylight hours - communicating with teachers and students to co-ordinate lessons at Encore!, directing the various endeavours of Pat-A-Cake Productions, Production Managing the Victoria University Summer Shakespeare Season of Macbeth 2014, disguising herself as a nanny of two delightful toddlers, tinkering onher saxophone (not often enough), and getting out to as many local gigs and theatre shows as she can squeeze in (perhaps too often!)
Bop loves camping, waterskiing, storytelling, writing, and opening all kinds of dialogue with her community. She dreams of taking a show on the road to France, to test out physical theatre's capacity to survive cultural barriers and to have some European adventures!
