Ben McHardy - Drum Teacher

Ben began playing the drums as a young child, and has gone from strength to strength as a professional musician in the Wellington music scene. He has been playing drums as a session musician since 2018, and played in multiple originals and covers bands. Ben is currently finalising his Bachelor of Commercial Music Degree at Massey University.

Ben values music for it’s communicative capacity. He loves to explore the deeper aspects of musicality, and takes a very holistic approach. As well as teaching technique and repertoire, Ben loves to teach drumming systems so his students can dissect any material they want to learn.
