OLIVIA STEWART WELLINGTON PIANO, VOCAL AND TOTS TEACHER
From a young age, Olivia has always enjoyed music. Starting out as a dancer, her love for music grew from there. She began singing at age 10, and completed her grade 8 Trinity college exam by the time she finished secondary school. She took performance and choir opportunities where she could and also picked up the piano to support her singing development during those years.
2019 saw her complete a Bachelors of Music, majoring in classical voice at the New Zealand School of Music, Victoria University of Wellington. She performed frequently during her studies at the New Zealand School of Music; including Puccini's Double Bill as the role of Sister Genovieffa in Suor Angelica.
Music teaching is something she is very passionate about. She is grateful for her own music teachers who inspired her to get this far. She strives to create a supportive and enjoyable learning environment for her own students.
