SINEAD KEANE SINGING TEACHER AND TOTS TEACHER
Sinéad’s love of singing and music began at an early age, singing with her mum in the local choir and attending tots music classes from age two. Moving from Ireland in 2009, Sinéad’s love of all things music continued to grow through her school years and into her University years where she studied Classical Performance, Voice.
In March 2020, Sinéad graduated with a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours in Classical Performance Voice at the New Zealand School of Music under the tutelage of Margaret Medlyn and Wade Kernot. Passionate about performance, her interests and repertoire range from operatic arias, to German Lied, French mélodie, and modern composition. She regularly participates in lunchtime concerts, performances, and competitions. In 2017 and 2018, Sinéad had the opportunity to be a scholar with the choir of the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Most recently, in July of 2019, Sinéad performed the title role of ‘Suor Angelica’ in the New Zealand School of Music’s production of Puccini’s Suor Angelica. Sinéad is passionate about performance and storytelling through music. She is particularly interested in creating a learning environment that is safe, educational, and enjoyable for children young and old. |
